RPMS of Nwchem

Gets Around
Hi,

i would like to announce RPMS of the latest Nwchem for Fedora/RHEL(CentOS)/openSUSE.
They can be retrieved by:

- configuring the repositories (requires root access) as described at
https://wiki.fysik.dtu.dk/ase/download.html#installation-with-package-manager-on-linux
and installing with standard # yum install nwchem or # yast -i nwchem

- downloading the RPMS manually from http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/dtufys/

In any case, the RPMS can be installed without root access, with rpm2cpio as documented at
https://wiki.fysik.dtu.dk/ase/download.html#installation-with-package-manager-on-linux

Please let me know if you experience any problems with the RPMS, and after solving potential problems,
it would be nice the RPMS get officially announced as "unofficial binaries" by the Nwchem developers.

Gets Around
Hi,

any news about announcing the RPMS as unofficial binaries?

Forum Vet
As we cannot provide support for those binaries the instructions and support structure needs to be clear. To announce them we need to have a full set of simple instructions for users how to install NWChem, not point to ASE ways without what they need to change to install NWChem instead. This most likely leads to questions.
