Using SGE's TMPDIR?

Hi,

I was wondering whether it is possible to use for SCRATCH_DIR the TMPDIR that SGE creates. I know that this would only work if one runs on a single node, but that is what I am planning anyway. Since the SCRATCH_DIR is a top level input directive, I do not see how I can set this to a folder that is created on the fly by SGE. Is there an environment variable I can use to set the SCRATCH_DIR?

The env. variable name is
SCRATCH_DIR
