clicking viewer opens builder window

I installed ECCE 7.0 from binaries on Ubuntu 12.04 successfully. I start ECCE and the gateway opens as expected. However, when I click on the "viewer" icon, it opens a window entited "ECCE Builder", which is the same as if I click on the "builder" icon. My goal is to be able to view results from an NWChem calculation I have done outside of ECCE. Am I missing a prerequisite for successfully opening the "Viewer" application (such as needing to have done the calculation in ECCE)? I can't access help for the viewer because it is not online, and I cannot open a Viewer application window to gain access to the "help" menu.

Nsa36, the viewer and builder are essentially the same application. Go to File, Import Chemical System (e.g. xyz) or Import Calculation from Output File (e.g. ecce.out) Note that you will only be able to open ecce.out files produced using the ecce_print directive -- you won't be able to open a simple piped output from an nwchem calculation (e.g. nwchem nw.in \|tee nw.out won't yield a useful file)
