John, Thanks for your feedback. I think I have found a work-around for the fifteen seconds hfi_wait_for_device issue. Please execute the following commands mkdir -p $HOME/.openmpi echo "mtl = psm" >> $HOME/.openmpi/mca-params.conf This trick worked for my Centos 7.3 installation
