Please try the following cd $NWCHEM_TOP/src make link If you really want to start from the beginning, have the compilation analyze every single directory (Yes!) and wait quite a bit longer, you might try the following recipe cd $NWCHEM_TOP/src make _USE_SCALAPACK=y
